The Frazier History Museum in Louisville will be home to The Hunger Games: The Exhibition from April 1st through September 10th – so get your tickets ASAP! This special exhibit is expected to be a huge draw for fans all over the region.
Louisville is the fourth city on the five-year worldwide tour of the exhibit, and according to the Courier-Journal, we can thank the blockbuster’s star, Jennifer Lawrence, for its arrival. She happens to be a local. But she’s not our only link to the series. Co-star Josh Hutcherson is also a Kentuckian, hailing from Union. And one of the Costume Designers, Marcy Rector, is a graduate of Centre College in Danville!
The Frazier History Museum’s mission is to “ignite the human spirit with thoughtfully crafted stories to spark curiosity about who we are and our connection to the future.”
A portion of ticket sales from the exhibition will be donated to the Jennifer Lawrence Foundation.
